Maybe through eating we can rediscover our immediate surroundings. “Eat your Street” is a material exploration of chocolate, that takes inspiration from the textures, shapes & colours found in the Colmenares Street in Madrid. Pavement-, man hole- and license plate-segments were translated though casting, moulding and pouring to colorful bits and pieces of chocolate. All used colours are natural food pigments like activated charcoal, spirulina and teas. A final tasting at the presentation got participants to experience their city from a new way.
