Carla Rotenberg is a German-Spanish holistic designer who creates narratives, objects and visual languages, many times related to social and historical phenomenons surrounding food and human’s relationship to it. Her ongoing project “A Bite of Extinction” explores endangered foods and recipes.

She is currently pursuing an MA in Contemporary Design at Aalto University in Helsinki. She holds a BA in Design from IE University in Madrid, which included a study-abroad at Northeastern University in Boston.

Her professional experience includes working with Teresa Sapey + Partners on projects for clients such as Hilton, Room Mate, and Diabla; with Mateo & Co., the Future of Food Institute, and Kraut Food Studio on assignments for clients such as Soyland and The Coca-Cola Company; as well as collaborating on Mayrit Bienal 2022 and working with Ruska Martín Associates in Berlin.
