Kaunissaari is a tiny island located in the archipelago of Sipoo, almost on the outer sea, a gem of Helsinki in Finland. Only in summer, a wooden ferry will bring you from the mainland to this place. Kaunissaari has beautiful rocky beaches and lush nature, with wild blueberries bushes to feast on. In summer 2025 I spent a weekend on Kaunissaari with a notebook and a pack of crayons and started doodling sketches that have become the patterns of this collection.
